Public Invited to Samaritan Art Exhibit

Dianne Wallace, of Medford, N.J., has a bright and sunny disposition that she hopes to reflect in her watercolors. Beginning on August 2 through October 31, the Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice Inpatient Art Gallery will feature 18 of her pieces. A portion of art sale proceeds will benefit Samaritan’s programs and services.

“I believe the best part of being an artist is the pleasure of sharing the gift,” said Wallace. She carefully curated a collection of pieces that mix flora, fauna, landscape, and other nature scenes that she is excited to share with the public and the entire Samaritan family.

Wallace’s work is largely inspired by her genuine love of nature and animals. She uses a largely wet-into-wet watercolor style that produces spontaneous and vibrant paintings. In 2011, she was named as one of the top five artists in South Jersey Magazine’s “Best of the Best” issue.
