Community Corner

Historical Society of Moorestown Coffee Klatch

The Roberts family has ancestral roots that extend as far as the earliest settlement in Moorestown. The Roberts descendants built farms and homes and lived in this area for generations. Our September Coffee Klatch will feature longtime resident John Roberts as our guest speaker on September 19, from 11:00-noon. John is an enthusiastic authority on Roberts lore and will share history and anecdotes relating to the family. He will display a collection of Roberts heirlooms, including a quilt, sampler, and photographs.

Our Coffee Klatches are affordable fund raising events designed to involve the community through discussion and participation. Admission is $10.00. Coffee, tea and light refreshments will be served. All proceeds benefit the Historical Society of Moorestown.
