STEM Work Party

Come to South Valley Woods to help refurbish and clear the trails from the effects of a rainy summer and a series of storms.  STEM (Save the Environment of Moorestown) conducts regular work projects and clean-ups throughout Moorestown.  Members of the general public are always welcome to participate in these activities.

Even if you have never attended one of these sessions, please join STEM’s seasoned Natural Area Care workers as we work and chat. Volunteers will work to freshen up the trails by lopping, sawing and clipping fallen branches and overgrowth.

Please wear long sleeves and pants to protect yourselves.  Bring gloves, loppers , clippers  and bow saws if you have them – although we have a few extras.  We will gather at the STEM signs at the far end South Stanwick Road.  Parking is in far end of the school parking lot if there is adequate space or on Oldershaw Ave.
