What I Really Think About Firebirds Restaurant at the Moorestown Mall

I don't usually take my kids out to eat with my wife and I but now I have a good reason to do so...

While doing some last minute Christmas shopping my kids and I decided to check out Firebirds, one of the newest restaurants at the Moorestown Mall.  At the recommendation of Brian Gardiner, the Mall Manager, we decided to check it out.  

My four kids and I walked into the restaurant and were immediately taken by the warm and friendly atmosphere (no doubt helped by the open-flame grill with in eyeshot of our seats).  The mood was relaxed and very customer-friendly.  The hostesses were the best!  I had to use their phone to call my wife and they were so helpful and courteous.  The wait staff was attentive and very knowledgeable.

My kids ordered from the kids menu and this is where my thoughts about family dinning with my kids changed....

The children's menu offered the most food I have seen in many moderate-to-upscale restaurants.  The prices were reasonable (comparable to a Chik-Fil-A adult meal) and offer three items (an entree, two sides, refillable drinks plus an Oreo cookie.  For a family who eats out rarely and has a strict budget, this was excellent for us.  Check out their Children's Menu http://www.firebirdsrestaurants.com/fb/upload?id=134

I like this place so much I took a hosted a pastor and his family to dinner at Firebirds.  They enjoyed the food and all 4 of their boys had enough food to take home.  The managers there, Tom Allen & Guercine Dauphin, are the perfect hosts.  I am so glad this restaurant is here...right in my backyard.
