Help put the “finishing touches” on the Paint Perkins Campaign!

We only need $7,539 more to get the painting started!

Many have come forward in our call for support in painting Perkins Center’s 1910 Tudor Revival main house and 1930 Craftsman Style carriage house, and I’m excited to share the progress! Gifts of $10,000 from Holman Automotive and $5,000 from the Moorestown Lunch Rotary have satisfied the $15,000 matching grant the Center was awarded from the 1772 Foundation in August. Individuals have come forward to add $2,461 to that total, bringing us to $32,461 of the $40,000 goal. We only need $7,539 more to get the painting started!

Support has been not only generous, but creative too. Live Civilly, a New Jersey non-profit corporation, is donating half of its proceeds from the sale of “Live Artfully” magnets to Paint Perkins!.

"We wanted to support Perkins because it is so good for our community,” the girls behind Live Civilly said. “Art helps people grow and it is important to make sure that people can keep going to Perkins and that Perkins is kept in good shape."

The girl's mom's and dad's "2 cents" are that “… Art helps strengthen communities and Perkins Center for the Arts has been instrumental in providing arts education for the last 30+ years. It is an institution, and a building, which MUST be preserved.”

Magnets are sold for $8 in the lobby of Perkins Center and you can visit livecivilly.org to learn more.

We look forward to honoring everyone who is and will be a part of this exciting project. Please consider making a donation by visiting www.perkinscenter.org and click on the “Donate Now” square.

And keep your eyes peeled; your contributions will make a visible difference in your community arts center very soon!
