Moorestown draws much of its identity from its historic downtown district, with a Main Street lined with shops and quaint houses sporting dated placards. We know that many of the dates are in the 1600s and 1700s, which pre-dates even our nation, but what more do we know about our town?

Come to the library Thursday evening to find out.

The Moorestown 4th of July Parade Committee is proud to present the first event in its new Freedom Lecture Series. The Parade Committee has brought together the Historical Society of Moorestown and the Indian King Tavern Museum of Haddonfield to give us all a look at our town's beginnings.

This is a free event, open to the public. Afterward, let us know what you learned from the discussion! Then visit the 4th of July Parade website to see how you can help support this annual celebration.
