Dining In Moorestown Is Getting Really Exciting

Some new eateries are opening in Moorestown in the very near future. The Moorestown Mall will be the epicenter of most of the activity.

The first new dining experience will be Osteria NJ. It will open at the Moorestown Mall on November 18th.   There has been a lot of buzz about the Italian eatery that has been under construction since summer.  The activity has really increased in recent weeks and there have been a couple job fairs being held to recruit restaurant staff.  If you would like to get some inside info, check out their Facebook page.

Marc Vetri, a previous Iron Chef winner, owns and operates several acclaimed high-end, Italian-style restaurants in Philadelphia, including the original Osteria on Broad Street. His flagship, Vetri, was named one of the 50 best restaurants in the country by Gourmet Magazine in 2006 and received the Philadelphia Inquirer's highest restaurant rating, along with a host of other accolades. Many of his restaurants are consistently ranked in the upper echelon of Philadelphia Magazine's Top 50 Restaurants list.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is rumored, via Twitter, to be opening at the Moorestown Mall on December 16th. Construction has been underway for months on Firebirds, which will be located next to Chipotle. Firebirds features upscale casual dining. The cozy, intimate setting is infused with tantalizing wood-fired aromas. Visit the Firebirds website to check out their menu and find out more about the restaurant.

Both Firebirds and Osteria got approval to have outdoor seating.  Now we can all look forward to dining “al fresco” in the summer of 2014.

According to a press release, Jose Garces will open Distrito in 2014.  The 7,500-square-foot Moorestown Distrito will feature contemporary interpretations of regional Mexican favorites, coupled with distinctive colorful furnishings and a cool, modern ambiance.  The restaurant will also feature an exposed kitchen, an indoor stone fireplace, a wine wall and an expansive bar. Distrito will introduce the previously ‘dry’ town’s only premium tequila bar.

Moorestown Mall has also announced that the Regal Moorestown Mall Stadium 12 & PRX Theater will be opening soon. This holiday season, the Moorestown Mall will be the place in South Jersey for dinner and a movie.

With all of these dining opportunities coming to Moorestown, the next thing we need is a really great exercise facility.  Bon appetit!!
