Moorestown High School Presents Its 2014 Spring Musical

The Moorestown High School Theater is presenting their 2014 Spring Musical, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on February 27th, 28th and March 1st.  There will also be performances on March 7th and 8th.  Each performance is at 7:30 pm.

Set in the 1960’s, this Pulitzer Prize winning musical combines corporate ambition, inter-office romance and just a little bit of scandal. It is a satire of big business and all it holds sacred.  Don’t miss this chance to see the play that critics have called “perfect musical comedy construction” and “expert showmanship.”

The cast consisted of J. Pierrepont Finch (senior Josh Toro), Rosemary Pilkington (senior Gabby Talvacchia), Smitty (junior Carrie Wagner), J.B. Bigley (junior Stephen Gross), Miss Jones (sophomore Nicole Tsarouhas), Bud Frump (senior Jack Morgan) and Hedy Larue (senior Liz Crino).

Kevin Chamberlin, a Moorestown High School graduate, will be featured as the Narrator/Book Voice in the show.  Mr. Chamberlin currently plays Bertram on the Disney Channel’s Jessie and has been nominated for three Tony awards. The balance of the cast is about fifty executives and secretaries along with fourteen student orchestra members.  The crew has over forty students working on set construction, painting, lighting, sound, photography, videography, publicity, costumes, hair and makeup.

Performances will take place in the Moorestown High School auditorium, 350 Bridgeboro Rd., on Thursday 2/27, Friday 2/28, Saturday 3/1, Friday 3/7, and Saturday 3/8. All performances are at 7:30 pm and tickets are $12. The February 28th performance will be ASL interpreted for the deaf and hard-of-hearing. There is a special matinee performance for senior citizens on Wednesday March 5th at noon.
