Former Moorestown Hardware Owner Dies

Ninety-two-year-old Edward H. Holweger passed away this weekend.

Edward H. Holweger, of Moorestown, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, at the age of 92.

Ed was the former owner of the Moorestown Hardware store. He served in the Navy during World War II.

He was the husband of the late Dorothy and uncle of Jane L. Doolittle, of Mount Laurel, and Roy G. Weigand, of Doylestown, PA. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Cheta Holweger, of Moorestown, and Dorothy Holweger, of Kennett Square, PA.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of the Evergreens, 309 Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park, Somerton, PA.

In lieu of flowers, send memorial contributions to the Calvary Lutheran Church, 3 Eayerstown Road, Medford, NJ 08055.
