Longtime Moorestonian, OLGC Parishioner Dies

Joan Frances Gaskill (nee West), of Moorestown, died Saturday, Sept. 7 at the age of 83.

Gaskill, formerly of Philadelphia, was a longtime member of Our Lady of Good Counsel, where she served as a cantor and a member of the choir for many years. She retired from the Lincoln Mercury Division of Ford Motor Co. in 1991 after 31 years of service.

Gaskill is survived by Frank Stein, of Moorestown, and longtime friend Joan B. Dolan, of Cinnaminson, as well as numerous other close friends.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown. A viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m. at Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St., Moorestown. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.
