Navy Vet, Former Moorestonian Dies

Services for Marc D. Cline will be held on Monday.

Marc D. Cline, of Southampton, formerly of Moorestown and Maple Shade, died on March 20 at the age of 77.

Cline was retired from PSE&G in Moorestown after 32 years of service as the chief mechanic.

He also honorably served in the U.S. Navy for four years, and was a member of the USS Sarsfield DD-837 Association, Tin Can Sailors, U.S. Navy Memorial Foundation, Fleet Reserve Association Branch 212, and life member of VFW Col. Harry Cooper Post 160, in Glen Burnie, MD.

Cline was the beloved husband of Florence (nee Slimm); brother of Page C., James V., Mary Frances Gavey and Margaret  Pagnotti; and uncle of Ronald and Gary Cline.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the First United Methodist Church, Camden and Pleasant Valley avenues, Moorestown. A viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery.
