Obituary: Accomplished Amateur Artist Dies

Grace Worthing passed away over the weekend.

Grace E. Worthing died Saturday at the .

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Daisy Glessner, and siblings Helen Catherine Gibbs and Daniel E. Glessner.

Grace will be greatly missed by her daughter, Susan Lynn Masiko, of Marlton. She was a beloved "Nana" to Gregory Worthing Masiko (Jennifer) and a very special great-grandmother to Madilyn Olivia and Gregory Worthing Masiko Jr. of Media, PA.

Grace's happiest moments were spent with her husband of 59 years, Frank William Worthing, who preceded her in death in 2000. There were many cross-country moves, ending with a 27-year residence in Somers, NY, and their move to Moorestown in 1997 to be closer to family.

Grace enjoyed extensive European travel with her husband. She had an artistic talent, creating oil paintings which graced her family home and winning First Award on her first try at the Somers-North Salem Garden Club. She was a volunteer on the Women's Board at Cooper Hospital while living in Delaware Township (Cherry Hill) and also volunteered at a Westchester County hospital. She was a member of of Moorestown and also of Presbyterian Women.

Grace was grateful for the extraordinary care and personal attention given to her by the staff of the Evergreens, who became her friends during her final years.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 27, at the Chapel of the Evergreens, 309 Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown. Private interment will be conducted at the Presbyterian Cemetery, Moorestown.
