Obituary: Katharyn M. Tyler

Katharyn M. Tyler, of Moorestown, died Friday, Dec. 21, at the age of 95.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Beck Tyler, Esq., who died in 1997; her sister, Mary Louise Manusos; and brother, John J. Manusos. She is survived by her son, Joseph Beck Tyler II (Jeanne), of Philadelphia; her daughter, Crystine Tyler Kavalunas (Donald), of Moorestown; granddaughters Tiffany and Truly Tyler, of California, and Jennifer Kavalunas, of Moorestown; and one great granddaughter, Madison Marie.

Katharyn was born in Mason City, IA and came east when she married Douglas at age 21. She was devoted to her family, providing them with the best of care and putting herself last.

The family wishes to give heartfelt thanks to her caregivers at The Evergreens and Lighthouse Hospice.

A funeral mass will be at held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Church, 103 Fourth St., Riverton. Private interment will be in Westfield Friends Cemetery, Cinnaminson.
