Obituary: Longtime Moorestown Resident Dies

Mary R. Maerz (nee Gilbert), a 60-year resident of Moorestown, died on April 18, at the age of 88.

Mary was dedicated to her husband of 64 years, Richard A. Maerz, and her seven children: Richard of Sebastian, FL, Gary of Moorestown, Robert of San Francisco, CA, Donna of Haven Beach, NJ, Douglas of Cherry Hill, David of Moorestown, and Maryann Hobbs of San Diego, CA. Also survived by her five grandchildren: Richard, Caralyn, Megan, Christy and Natalie.

Mary was a longtime member of and an avid international traveler, member of the Surf City Yacht Club, gourmet cook and outstanding and loving mother and grandmother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 20, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main St., Moorestown. Interment at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
