Obituary: Otto "Paul" Frey

Frey, owner of Philly-based Benjamin Booth Company, died at the age of 90 last week.

Otto “Paul” Frey, 90, of Moorestown, died Friday, Sept. 14.

Paul was a graduate and class president of North East High School, class of 1940, and received his BS from Penn State University.

After college, he served in the U.S. Marines during WWII in the Pacific theater as a first lieutenant.

He previously owned the Special Leather Co. and most recently owned the Benjamin Booth Co. of Philadelphia since 1971.

Paul was an avid duck hunter and loved his Labrador retrievers.

He was married to Shirley Ann (nee Fink) for 65 years and was the father of David Frey, of Southampton.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Presbyterian Church cemetery, Moorestown.
