Services for Mount Laurel Teen Who Died in School Set for Thursday

Brian McGuire will be laid to rest this week.

A Mount Laurel teenager who died suddenly following physical education this week will be laid to rest this week.

The following obituary for Brian McGuire, 14, was posted by Givnish Funeral Homes this week:

Brian T. McGuire passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the age of 14. Born in Philadelphia, Brian was a resident of Mt. Laurel and formerly of Maple Shade.

Brian was an eighth grade student at the Thomas E. Harrington Middle School in Mt. Laurel.

Loving son of Brian H. and Jeanette L. (nee Trotter). Brother of Lynnette McGuire, the late Falen K. and the late Cierra K. McGuire. Grandson of James T. and Marion Trotter and Thomas E. McGuire and the late Gloria McGuire. Uncle of Falen Kaloni, Jesse Prince, Cierra Keona and Stevielynn Kaliona. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Brian's Life Celebration and viewing Thursday, May 29th at 4-8 p.m. and Friday, May 30th at 9-11 a.m. at Inglesby/Givnish of Maple Shade, 600 East Main Street. His Funeral Service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Colestown Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Chapel Riverside, 35 Saint Mihiel Drive, Delran, NJ 08075.
