What happens next???

My father just came across a news article on the tear down of the David Gentile skate park. For someone that knew him personally, it's heartbreaking to read about Moorestown tearing it down, but no words on anything going forward about a new memorial for David.  Since when does the word "Memorial" stand for "until we tear it down"?
