After Taking Bullet to the Leg, Cat Ready for Adoption

Looking for a new friend? Mimsy is available for adoption at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

Let me introduce myself. I'm Mimsy. I am a 2- to 3-year-old female that arrived at the shelter with a bullet in my leg. The wonderful volunteers made sure I got the medical care I needed and was able to recover in a warm bed in a lovely foster home. I am now healed and ready to go to my forever home.

I'm a sweet, gentle girl and like to be petted and enjoy playing, but I can be just a bit shy at first. And I have such beautiful markings—black and white is so elegant.
