Looking to adopt? This friendly cat is available at the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

Hi. My name is Gillian and I was found wandering with a green flea collar on, so I used to be somebody's cat. But they haven't come for me, so now is your opportunity to get a really nice, calm kitty.

I'm a female, about 4 years old, a svelte seven pounds, and litter box-trained of course. I'm a bit reserved but basically very friendly and loving. I enjoy attention and petting. I must admit I am a little down about being in this cage, so how about coming over to see me and maybe we can get this adoption thing moving along? I would love to spend the holidays with you.

When calling the shelter at 609-265-5073, please refer to my ID number C-54828.

Gillian is a member of our Purrfect Perks Program. When you adopt this pet, you will receive a Kitty Goodie Bag donated by a volunteer with the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter.

All cats will be spayed/neutered and tested for feline AIDS and feline leukemia before leaving the shelter. Please give this kitty a second chance. Visit the shelter and fill out an adoption application today.

The shelter is located on Academy Drive in Westampton behind the county library and is now open seven days a week. Adopt a pet—save a life!
