$2,000 Cash Stolen from Hotel Room Safe: Police

Arrest (burglary) — Mount Laurel Police, with the assistance of Medford and Medford Lakes police, arrested Kurtis B. Johnson, 19, of the unit block of Onondago Trail, Medford Lakes, for a burglary that occurred on the 200 block of North Pond Drive on May 20, according to a report. He was charged with burglary, theft, and conspiracy and lodged at Burlington County Jail in lieu of $11,000 bail.

Theft, 9-11:27 a.m. — Police said $2,000 cash was stolen from a safe inside a room at the Fairfield Inn on Century Parkway. There was no sign of forced entry to the safe or the room, according to police.

Arrest (burglary) — Mount Laurel Police, with the assistance of Medford and Medford Lakes police, arrested Jake E. Lynch, 21, of the 100 block of South Main Street, Medford, for a burglary that occurred on May 20 at the 200 block of North Pond Drive, according to a report. He was served with criminal complaints and released pending a municipal court hearing.

June 2

Theft, 11:04 a.m. — Someone stole a Red Max blower, valued at $600, from the back of a landscaping trailer belonging to Evergreen Lawn Service while it was parked on the 2900 block of Marne Highway, police said.

Criminal mischief, 1:33 p.m. (Larchmont Estates) — Police said someone pried the rear window of a home on the unit block of Sheffield Lane, causing an estimated $500 damage—though the individual did not gain access to the residence. The incident occurred between 12 a.m. Jan. 1 and 1:33 p.m. June 2.

Theft (Larchmont), 8:08 p.m. — Someone stole a cell phone, iPod and headphones—total value $1,100—from the park at Normandy and Narbeth drives, police said.

Burglary (Larchmont Estates) — More than $500 in jewelry and cash was stolen from a home on the unit block of Sheffield Road when a burglar pried open a rear window on the lower level, police said. The incident occurred between 12 a.m. June 1 and 10:38 p.m. June 2.

June 4

Burglary, 5:40 a.m. — Someone forced open the rear window of a residence on the 100 block of Hooton Road and stole an $800 laptop, police said.

June 5

Theft from vehicle — Police said someone stole cash, jewelry and miscellaneous items—valued at approximately $200—from a vehicle outside Planet Fitness between 11:45 p.m. June 4 and 1:30 a.m. June 5. The thief got into the vehicle using keys taken from a key rack inside the gym, police said.

Arrest (possession of cocaine), 3:03 a.m. — Police arrested David M. Kloiber Sr., 46, of the unit block of Caldwell Avenue, Marlton, after he was stopped on Route 73 for a motor vehicle violation, according to a report. Kloiber was charged with possession of cocaine and released pending a municipal court hearing.
