ADVISORY: Moorestown Police Change Number
Police change non-emergency number. But keep calling 911 for emergencies.
The Moorestown Township Police Department will no longer be using the phone number 856-235-0130 for non-emergency calls.
The new non-emergency number is 856-234-8300. The new number will be in effect starting Sept. 26.
Sgt. Lee Lieber said the change is being made because Burlington County dispatch was having issues with the department's current non-emergency number.
Residents and business owners requiring a police officer for non-emergency matters will call 856-234-8300.
Please note: Only the non-emergency number is changing. Always use 911 for emergencies, crimes in progress or to save a life.
