Armed Robber Holds Up Gas Station, Police Say

Maple Shade Police are seeking the public's help in finding a man who used a gun to rob the Sunoco on Route 73 last week.

Police are looking for a man who walked into a Sunoco gas station with a gun Friday night and walked out with $900.

Maple Shade Police said the man entered the Sunoco at 3071 Route 73 South just before midnight Friday, April 26, with a gun in his waistband and held up the attendant. He was described as a thin white man, wearing a ball cap—possibly a black Under Armour cap—and a white long-sleeve, fleece-type shirt, which was pulled over his face.

The suspect fled on foot after stealing approximately $900. The clerk was not injured, police said.
