Arsonists Torch Vehicle with Molotov Cocktail, Police Say

Mount Laurel Police are searching for two men believed to be connected to the crime.

Two people smashed their way into a vehicle and tossed what is believed to be a Molotov cocktail inside, setting it on fire, according to Mount Laurel Police.

The arson occurred around 7:20 p.m. Saturday on the unit block of Hilltop Drive, police said. The vehicle was parked in the driveway of a residence when two unknown individuals smashed the window and set it on fire, causing approximately $5,000 damage.

The suspects were seen leaving the area in a white vehicle, possibly an Acura, police said. During the investigation, surveillance footage from the CVS on North Maple Avenue, Evesham, revealed two people of interest believed to be connected to the arson. (Photo at right.)
