UPDATE: Blotter: Police Investigate More Burglaries

Video game systems and jewelry stolen.

UPDATE: Moorestown Police are investigating another residential burglary reported Friday afternoon.

According to police, a home on the unit block of East Spruce Avenue was burglarized sometime between Tuesday, March 20, and 5 p.m. Friday, March 23. 

Police said the burglar entered the residence through a rear window and stole jewelry and change. The burglary is similar bears a similar M.O. to another that occurred on East Oak Avenue on Thursday (see below), in the same area.

Police are asking residents to be vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activity by calling 856-234-8300. Call 911 for crimes in progress.

March 17

Theft, 12:51 p.m. — A woman told police her wallet was stolen out of her coat pocket while she was shopping at the Moorestown Mall.

March 18

Vehicle burglary, 10:19 a.m. — Police said a purse was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Oakmont Drive sometime overnight on March 17. The burglar broke a rear window to get into the vehicle, police said.

March 21

Burglary, 5:22 p.m. — A Sony PlayStation and Nintendo Wii were stolen from a residence on the 100 block of Errickson Ave between 2-3 p.m., police said. The burglar entered the home through an open window.

Burglary, 5:47 p.m. — Police said jewelry was stolen from a residence on the unit block of North Sutton Place sometime between Oct. 2011 and March 21.

March 22

Burglary, 6:04 p.m. — A burglar forced open a window to a home on the unit block of East Oak Avenue and stole jewelry sometime between 1:30 and 4:30 p.m., according to police.

Residents are urged to contact the  immediately at 856-234-8300 if they notice any suspicious activity in their neighborhood.
