DUI, Assault by Auto for Oaklyn Man After Accident, Police Say

Also, Moorestown Police say two Philadelphia men used counterfeit cash to go on a shopping spree at the Moorestown Mall.

March 8

  • Michael Savio, 53, of Otter Branch Drive, Magnolia, charged with hindering after he allegedly gave police false information during a motor vehicle stop on East Main Street, according to a report. He was released on a special summons.

March 9

  • George Taylor, 39, of North 57th Street, Philadelphia, and Andre Chin, 35, of Primrose Road, Philadelphia, arrested for using counterfeit money to buy merchandise from Lord & Taylor, Play N Trade and Hollister at the Moorestown Mall, according to police. Both men were charged with attempted forgery, forgery and theft by deception and committed to Burlington County Jail in default of $10,000 each.
  • John Koss, 38, of Kendall Boulevard, Oaklyn, arrested for driving under the influence and assault by auto as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 38, police said. Koss was also charged with possession of heroin, and released on a summons.
