Environment NJ to Canvass Moorestown Neighborhoods

The group is permitted to canvass the neighborhood until 8:30 p.m.

With the recent reports of burglaries in Moorestown, the Moorestown Police Department told residents Tuesday morning that the non-profit Environment NJ will be canvassing neighborhoods. The police also urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity via a statement issued using nixle.com.

Environment NJ will be visiting residents throughout the month, and its non-profit status allows it to make visits after dark. This group is permitted to canvass neighborhoods until 8:30 p.m. They won't have identification, but they will have clipboards with their organization's logo.

With the recent burglaries, residents are again urged to promptly contact police at 856-234-8300 to report suspicious activity. Call 911 to report crimes in progress.
