Man Charged in Rash of Moorestown Hunt Area Burglaries

Michael J. Walker, 42, was charged with 13 counts of burglary, nine counts of theft and three counts of criminal mischief.

Moorestown Police charged a 42-year-old man in a rash of burglaries in the Moorestown Hunt area that occurred in December, Moorestown Police announced Friday morning.

Michael J. Walker, 42, formerly of the unit block of Poplar Lane, Willingboro, was charged with 13 counts of burglary, nine counts of theft and three counts of criminal mischief in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries and thefts between Dec. 17 and Dec. 19.

He is also charged with a residential burglary in the unit block of Fieldstone Way. Bail is set at $60,000 full. Walker is presently incarcerated at Burlington County Jail on charges from other jurisdictions.
