Man Critical After Cycling Accident

Mount Laurel Police say William McDonald, of Medford, was struck by a vehicle while riding his bike on Larchmont Boulevard.

A Medford man is in critical condition after he was struck riding his bicycle along Larchmont Boulevard in Mount Laurel over the weekend, police said.

William McDonald, 30, of Tallowood Drive, Medford, was riding his bike south on Larchmont, approaching the Hainesport Road intersection, at 7:45 a.m. Saturday when he was struck by a vehicle also heading south, Mount Laurel Police said. 

He was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden by Mount Laurel Emergency Services and was listed in critical but stable condition Monday, according to a hospital spokesperson.

The driver of the vehicle is a 44-year-old township woman.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation by the Mount Laurel Police Department Traffic Bureau.
