Maple Shade Man Critical After Being Struck by Car: Police

Maple Shade Police are investigating the accident, which occurred Friday night on North Forklanding Road.

A 68-year-old man is in critical condition after he was struck by a car on North Forklanding Road in Maple Shade Friday night, police said.

According to Maple Shade Police, Harold Carmichael, of Maple Shade, was struck just before 10 p.m. near Main Street. He is listed in critical but stable condition at Cooper Hospital in Camden.

Police said the driver, a 76-year-old Maple Shade man, is cooperating and no charges have been filed.

The Maple Shade Police Department Traffic Safety Division and the Investigation Division are continuing to investigate the accident.
