Police arrest teen for burglarizing cars and woman with crack pipe, according to reports.

Aug. 9

Arrest (burglary), 11:04 p.m. — Police arrested Joseph E. Wilcox, 18, of Maple Shade, for burglarizing automobiles near St. John’s Episcopal Church. In his attempt to flee, police said Wilcox broke a window of the church. He was charged with receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, obstruction by flight, hindering apprehension and consumption of alcohol underage. He was remanded to Burlington County Jail on $5,000 bail.

Aug. 15

Arrest (drug possession), 2:16 a.m. — Police responded to Motel 6 for a report of an individual passed out in a room. Police said when they arrived, the man, Curtis S. Chew, of Pennsburg, Pa., who was passed out had been transported to the hospital and police found Laura Jane Stone, 34, of Camden, in the room with a crack pipe. She was arrested and charged with drug possession and turned over to the Camden Police Department on outstanding warrants. The woman had seven warrants out for her arrest, police said.

Aug. 16

Theft, 6:06 a.m. — Someone stole a black Yamaha motorcycle from Gardenia Drive, police said. The motorcycle, valued at $9,000, has a New Jersey 1SBS2.

Aug. 19

Burglary, 6 p.m. — Police said someone burglarized a home in the 100 block of Orchard Avenue between noon and 6 p.m., stealing several pieces of jewelry and coins, as well as a Coach purse. The burglars got in through a rear window, according to police. Anyone who saw any suspicious person or car in the area is asked to call Maple Shade Police at 856-234-8300 and reference case 2011-12234.
