Police chase a wanted man through backyards, an overdose leads to charges and someone steals a motorcycle from an Air Force serviceman.

Aug. 16

Suspicious activity, 11:15 p.m. — Police received a report of a middle-aged white male with dark hair looking into the bathroom window of a Sunflower Path resident.

Aug. 19

Drug overdose/possession, 3:47 p.m. — Maple Shade First Aid and Paramedics responded to Crosslands Motel on Route 73 for a drug overdose, police said. Andreas L. Parks, 26, of Medford, was transported to Kennedy Memorial in Cherry Hill for a heroin overdose and charged with possession of heroin, oxycodone and marijuana, distribution of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a hypodermic syringe. Police also charged David W. Curry IV, 21, of Medford, who was in the room with Parks, with possession of a hypodermic syringe and concealment of evidence. Curry also had a warrant out of Cherry Hill, police said, for which he posted bail and was released.

Aug. 22

Theft of a motorcycle, 7:28 p.m. — Someone stole a motorcycle from a member of the U.S. Air Force, who lives in the Village of Stoney Run, while the victim was away on duty, police said. The motorcycle is a white 2010 Yamaha YFZR6, tag number Y234P.

Aug. 23

Theft, 7:44 a.m. — Police said someone stole a Lenovo laptop, Magella GPS and a portable hard drive from a work vehicle in the unit block of Center Avenue. The victim told police he thought he locked the doors to the vehicle, but there were no signs of damage.

Aug. 28

Slashed tires, 12:48 p.m. — Police reported four tires on the victim’s vehicle were cut.

Aug. 29

Theft from vehicle, 9:33 a.m. — Someone stole a Garmin 350 GPS and $2 in quarters from a vehicle at Ryan’s Run West Apartments, police said.

Theft, 12:56 p.m. — A woman reported to police that their iPad and Macbook were stolen from her room at the Crosslands Motel.

Burglary, 10 p.m. — Police said someone stole a 32-inch Sharp flat screen TV and an 18-inch HP laptop from a residence in the 400 block of Melrose Avenue.

Arrest, 9:44 a.m. — Police received a tip that a wanted person was in the area of the unit block of South Forklanding Road. When police arrived, the subject, Michael McNulty, 31, of Erial, fled and led officers on a protracted foot chase through backyards on Anna, Helen, Gladwell, South Forklanding and South Lippincott, jumping back and forth over fences trying to evade the officers in pursuit, police said. Police eventually caught up to McNulty and took him into custody in a backyard on Gladwell. He was charged with resisting arrest, served with an existing assault charge from Aug. 18 and an outstanding burglary charge out of Atlantic County. He was transported to Burlington County Jail. One officer did sustain the effects of pepper spray during the chase, police said.
