Maple Shade Police reports include a drug arrest and burglaries.

Nov. 3

Vehicle damage: Between Nov. 2 and 3, an automotive business on the 3100 block of Route 73 South reported damage to a vehicle there. The 2001 Ford Crown Victoria’s front windshield was smash, causing between $200 and $300 in damage. There are no suspects.

Burglary: Between Aug. 1 and Nov. 4, someone entered a vacant home in the unit block of North Maple Avenue and stole a hot water heater and copper piping. Police reported visible damage to the walls where the piping was removed, and also graffiti throughout the home. There was no damage estimate available. Police have no suspects.

Burglary: Overnight between Nov. 3 and 4, a business on the 400 block of South Lenola Road was burglarized, police said. An employee reported that someone had entered the business and disabled the alarm system. Both the front and rear door showed signs of damage. The burglar stole more than $10,000 in merchandise and equipment worth an additional $15,000. Police are investigating.

Nov. 8

Narcotics investigation: Police charged Calvin R. Hill of the 100 block of Gardenia Drive with various narcotics offenses on Nov. 8. Police responded to a report of marijuana sales at Fox Meadow Complex and encountered Hill, who officers said had outstanding warrants. During a search, police said they found five bags of marijuana on Hill. Officers searched Hill’s home and reportedly found more marijuana and bags typically used to package marijuana for sale. Hill is charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
