Maple Shade Police Blotter

Police are searching for a suspect in a gas station robbery.

Maple Shade Police are searching for a man they say robbed the Valero gas station at 3023 Route 73 last Saturday.

The robbery occurred at approximately 7:29 p.m. Feb. 18, police said. There were two attendants on duty at the time. Neither one was hurt.

Police said it’s unclear at this time how much money the suspect made off with.

The suspect is described as a white male, tall, thin, clean-shaven, wearing a gray hoodie and gray sweatpants. Police said he fled on foot into a neighborhood adjacent to the gas station.

Police from , Cinnaminson and Willingboro assisted in the search for the suspect, including two police tracking canines, one from Cinnaminson Police and one from Willingboro Police.

Police are continuing to investigate the robbery and anyone who was in the area around the time of this crime that may have seen the robber is asked to call police at 856-234-8300.

Feb. 14

Arrest (drug possession), 5:55 p.m. — Police arrested Sierra Taylor, 18, of Mount Holly, and three juveniles after they were allegedly spotted by an officer using drugs in the car, according to a report. Taylor was charged with possession of marijuana and issued tickets for reckless driving and drug possession in a motor vehicle. Police said her three juvenile passengers will also be charged with possession of marijuana.

Feb. 16

Theft, 11:31 a.m. — A Madison Drive resident told police three packages, containing approximately $225 worth of colognes, were stolen from his doorstep.
