Police arrest a man for DWI after he backs his car into their cruiser, according to a report.

Nov. 29

Burglary, 8:07 p.m. — A locker at Balleys Fitness was broken into sometime between 6:30-8 p.m. and the victim’s iPhone and wallet were stolen, police said, as well as his lock.

(Police recommend leaving as much personal property as possible at home when going to the gym.)

Dec. 1

Arrest (DWI), 8:13 p.m. — Police arrested James Julian Biwald, 62, of Stratford, for driving while intoxicated after he backed his vehicle into a cop car, according to a report. Officers were dispatched to the area of Route 73 North to investigate an aggressive driver complaint. They found Biwald in the parking lot of Spa, Hearth and Home and saw him strike a curb and then a hill in the lot, police said. When officers got out of the car to speak to Biwald, he put his vehicle in reverse and backed into the police car. He was transported to Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Cherry Hill and issued a ticket for DWI and one for careless driving, police said. No officers were hurt.

Dec. 5

Arrest (CDS), 1:03 a.m. — Police arrested John R. Wilhelm, 29, of Maple Shade, after responding to a call for a drug overdose at Rudderow Avenue. Wilhelm was charged with use/being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a syringe. He was transported to Kennedy Hospital in Cherry Hill.
