Maple Shade Police Looking for Stickup Suspect

Police say the robber flashed a black pistol at the Country Farms convenience store Saturday night and made off with $1,100.

Maple Shade Police are searching for a man who held up the Country Farms convenience store on Route 73 Saturday night.

According to police, the man entered the store at 8:06 p.m., displayed a black pistol and stole approximately $1,100. No one was injured. 

The suspect was described as a light-skinned black man, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches, wearing a dark blue hoodie with white strings and jeans. (Photos taken from a security camera in the store are attached.)

Police said he fled on foot toward Mildred Avenue. A K-9 team from Evesham Police Department assisted in trying to track the suspect, but was unable to locate him.

There have been no arrests and police have no suspect(s) identified at this time.
