Masked Man Threatens to Kill Customer in Bank Robbery: Police

Mount Laurel Police are looking for the public's help identifying the suspect.

A masked man briefly took a PNC Bank customer hostage and threatened to kill him unless bank employees gave him cash during a robbery Friday afternoon, according to police.

Mount Laurel Police said the suspect confronted the customer as he was leaving the Ark Road branch around 5:30 p.m. and forced him back inside. The suspect implied he had a gun and demanded money from the employees, threatening to shoot the customer if they didn’t comply.

Bank employees turned over an undisclosed amount of money and the unidentified suspect fled in a tan sedan, possibly a Toyota Corolla, northbound on Ark Road, according to police.
