Mays Landing Man Charged in Maple Avenue Robbery

Thomas Carrelli was charged in connection with the robbery of a resident who interrupted a burglary in progress on Jan. 14.

A Mays Landing man has been charged in connection with the robbery of a resident who interrupted a burglary in progress on Maple Avenue on Jan. 14, Moorestown Police announced Thursday morning.

Thomas Carrelli, 41, was charged with robbery, terroristic threats, criminal mischief and receiving stolen property. Carelli was charged with robbing a resident who interrupted a burglary Carrelli and a female accomplice were involved in on the 100 block of West Maple Avenue. The accomplice was previously charged.

Carrelli's bail was set at $80,000 full. He is currently incarcerated in Camden County jail on charges from other jurisdictions.
