Moorestown Fire District 1 Releases July Call Info
Firefighters in District 1 responded to 35 incidents last month.
released its call information for July. The department responded to a total of 35 incidents, including two vehicle fires, three downed power lines, four car accidents and 14 false alarms.
Some of the other incidents the department responded to last month included:
- Two building fires, mutual aid
- One forest, woods or wildland fire
- One brush fire
- One outside rubbish, trash or waste fire
- One overpressure rupture from air or gas
- Two arcing, shorted electrical equipment
- One police matter
- Two smoke scares (odor of smoke)
- Four smoke detector activations
- Three alarm systems sounded due to malfunction
- Three CO detector activations sounded due to malfunction
- Three alarm system activations, no fire
