Moorestown Fire District 1 Releases June Call Information

Firefighters in District 1 responded to a total of 42 incidents last month.

released its call information for June. The department responded to 42 incidents, including one building fire, one outside equipment fire, eight downed power lines and eight false alarms.

Last month, the department responded to the following incidents:

  • One building fire
  • Six building fires, mutual aid
  • One outside equipment fire
  • One overpressure rupture of air or gas
  • One chemical spill or leak
  • Eight downed power lines
  • One aircraft standby
  • Two vehicle accidents, general cleanup
  • Two cover assignments
  • Three “good intent” calls (smoke care, odor of smoke)
  • Five alarm systems sounding due to malfunction
  • One CO detector activation due to malfunction
  • Eight alarm system activations, no fire
  • One lightning strike, no fire
  • One severe weather or natural disaster standby

District 1 also provided mutual aid to surrounding fire departments, including , on 11 incidents.
