Moorestown Police Advise Residents to Watch For Mail Thieves

A rash of mail thefts from curb side boxes has been reported on the east side of Moorestown.

Moorestown residents should think twice about putting outgoing mail into their own mailbox.

Moorestown Police sent out an alert on Thursday advising residents to watch where they put their mail after a rash of recent mail thefts on the east side of town.

Police said in the alert that most of the thefts have occurred in the Laurel Creek development. The thieves are targeting curb side boxes in which the red flag is up, indicating that there is outgoing mail inside.
