Moorestown Police Arrest Report

Shoplifting and drug possession at the Moorestown Mall.

Editor's note: This article has been edited to indicate a clarification. Gavin Lentz, 18, and Curtis Howard, 18, were not arrested on Jan. 29. They were each charged with violating the township's underage access to alcohol ordinance and issued summonses, according to police. 

Jan. 27

  • Lillian Streater, 61, of Pfeiffer Street, Camden, arrested for shoplifting a pair of boots, valued at $59.99, from Boscov’s at the Moorestown Mall and removing four women’s shirts from a display and “returning” them to receive a store credit for $84.94. She was charged with shoplifting and theft by deception.

  • Gavin Lentz, 18, East Main Street, and Curtis Howard, 18, Edgemoor Drive, were each charged with violating the township’s underage access to alcohol ordinance on East Main Street and issued summonses.
  • Michael Gulite, 31, of Eugenia Drive, Medford, and Brittany Hornick, 19, Myron Boulevard, North Hanover, arrested for shoplifting from Boscov’s at the Moorestown Mall. Police said Gulite concealed three necklaces and a bottle of women’s perfume—total value $125—and was also charged with possession of prescription drugs and heroin. Hornick concealed a $72 bottle of men’s cologne and was only charged with shoplifting.

Jan. 30

  • Jonathen Hughes, 45, of Beechwood Street, Philadelphia, arrested for shoplifting four watches, worth a total of $1,155, from Lord & Taylor at the Moorestown Mall. He was held on $2,500 bail.
  • Sharmyra Pearson, 24, of Atlantic Avenue, Camden, arrested for shoplifting a bottle of perfume valued at $36.38 from at the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.

  • Shalonda Balaam, 23, South Pavilion Avenue, Riverside, arrested for shoplifting a $98 purse from Lord & Taylor. She was released on a summons.
