Police keep busy over weekend: Home burgled, cars pilfered, driveways urinated on.

Aug. 19

Burglary, 7:14 p.m. — Someone broke into a residence on Murray Road sometime between 1-6 p.m. through a basement window and stole a laptop and a television, according to police.

Aug. 20

Vehicle Burglaries, 8:05 a.m. – Residents on Saint Anthony’s Drive and Laurence Drive reported having items stolen from their unlocked vehicles sometime overnight on Aug. 19. Police said a purse and credit cards were stolen.

Aug. 21

Suspicious Persons, 9:39 p.m. — A resident on the 300 block of South Washington Avenue reported two suspicious men in the area. The subjects were described as two black males wearing black clothing. They were seen urinating in a driveway, police said, before entering a white work van with ladders on the top. Patrols checked the area but were unable to locate the van or the subjects.

Residents are urged to contact the immediately at 856-235-0130 if they notice any suspicious activity in their neighborhood.
