Police reported a burglary and a couple instances of eggings.

Sept. 2

Criminal mischief, 8:54 p.m. — A man told police he was struck by an egg thrown from a dark sport-utility vehicle while walking on Main Street.

Sept. 3

Bicycle theft, 11:44 a.m. — A resident on the 200 block of South Church Street reported their bike was stolen from their back yard sometime between Aug. 20-31, police said.

Criminal mischief, 3:45 p.m. — A woman who lives on South Shirley Avenue told police someone threw eggs at her vehicle overnight on Sept. 2, damaging her mirror.

Sept. 5

Criminal mischief, 8:43 a.m. — A resident on the 100 block of Chestnut Street reported someone repeatedly knocking on their front door and fishing line tied to the doorknob, police said.

Sept. 6

Burglary, 11:43 a.m. — Police said sometime between Aug. 18 and Sept. 6 a home on the 600 block of Chester Avenue was burglarized. Pewter items, cash and other jewelry were taken from the home while the resident was away. There was no obvious forced entry to the residence, police said. A gardener working in the area reported seeing possibly a gold sport-utility vehicle and a silver sedan parked at the residence. If anyone saw these vehicles or anyone suspicious in the area during this time frame, they are urged to contact Moorestown detectives at 856-914-3042.

Suspicious vehicle, 12:29 p.m. — A resident from the 200 block of Laurence Drive reported a suspicious black Chevrolet pickup truck in the area. The truck was occupied by two white or Hispanic males, police said, and had a yellow ladder in the rear. It last seen on Mount Laurel Rd.

Sept. 8

Criminal mischief, 7:44 p.m. — An unknown person threw a bag of rocks through the front window of a home on the 200 block of Chester Avenue, police said, breaking the glass.
