Police arrest a 20-year-old Medford man after finding him asleep in his car and receive a report of a stolen "no liquor" sign.

Oct. 8

Arrest (Possession of drug paraphernalia), 4:39 a.m. — Police arrested Christopher Lowney, 20, of the 200 block of Tuckerton Road, Medford, after finding him asleep and intoxicated in his car, which was illegally parked on Golfview Road. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of fraudulent identification, driving under the influence and several other motor vehicle violations, police said. Lowney was released on a summons.

Theft, 2:21 p.m. — A resident of Cove Road reported the theft of an American flag mounted on their garage, police said.

Oct. 9

Vehicle burglary, 11:04 a.m. — A Middleton Road resident told police a purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in their garage sometime overnight on Oct. 8.

Oct. 11

Criminal mischief, 10:45 a.m. — Someone spray-painted graffiti on the side of a garage on the 100 block of North Church Street, police said.

Theft, 2:21 p.m. — A resident on the 100 Block of Avon Terrace reported sometime overnight on Oct. 10 a “Vote no to liquor licenses” sign was stolen from their yard, police said.

Oct. 13

Bicycle theft, 9:58 a.m. — A bicycle was stolen from the yard of an East Second Street resident sometime on Oct. 12, police said.
