Police arrest two people for marijuana possession and investigate suspicious person reports and eggings.

Nov. 11

Criminal mischief, 9:21 a.m. — Several residents from Oak Avenue told police sometime overnight on Nov. 10 the windows were smashed out of their vehicles.

Suspicious person, 12:27 p.m. — A resident from the 700 block of Covington Terrace reported seeing a black man riding a bicycle going from door to door. Patrols checked the area and were unable to find the man.

Nov. 12

Suspicious person, 9:16 a.m. — A resident from the 400 block of West Third Street called police when a black man riding a bicycle began banging on his front door. The resident told police the man left while he was calling the police. Patrols checked the area and couldn’t locate the subject.

Nov. 14

Vehicle burglary, 1:31 p.m. — A laptop computer, cash and change were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 200 block of Pembrook Avenue sometime overnight on Nov. 13, according to police.

Narcotics arrest, 9:42 p.m. — During a routine patrol, police noticed a suspicious vehicle on Golf View Road. Upon investigating, police discovered two individuals in possession of marijuana. Curtis Howard, 18, of the 400 block of Edgemoor Drive, Moorestown, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (under 50 grams). A juvenile in the vehicle was also charged with possession.

Nov. 15

Vehicle burglary, 7:27 a.m. — Change was stolen from the center console of an unlocked vehicle on the 900 block of Borton Landing Road sometime overnight on Nov. 14, police said.

Suspicious person, 11:25 a.m. — A resident of the 300 block of East Oak Avenue told police  she heard her doorbell ring and came downstairs to find an olive-skinned white male in her back yard. When the subject saw her looking out at him, he left the area in a silver Mercedes-Benz, police said. Police are investigating the incident.

Criminal mischief, 7:21 p.m. — A resident on the first block of East Third Street reported her home was egged. Patrols checked the area and were unable to find anyone.

Burglary, 7:37 p.m. — A woman in the unit block of Hogan Way, police said. The resident entered her home through the garage and heard the suspect(s) running and exiting through the back of the house, slamming a door as they left. She did not see the burglar(s), police said. The suspect(s) took jewelry from the victim’s bedroom.

Nov. 16

Attempted vehicle burglary, 10:56 a.m. — Police said someone tried to steal a vehicle that was parked on the 100 block of Borton Landing Road. The owner told police the driver’s side door lock was damaged. No entry was gained to the vehicle.

Criminal mischief, 5:17 p.m. — A resident on the first block of East Third Street told police someone egged her house. Patrols checked the area but couldn’t find anyone.
