Moorestown Police Bust Alleged Shoplifters

The Moorestown Mall continues to be a popular place for five-finger discounters, according to police.

Aug. 5

  • Marina Jones, 59, of Chadbury Road, Mount Laurel, arrested for shoplifting after police said she concealed a $24 necklace in her pocket while at at the Moorestown Mall. She was released on a summons.

Aug. 7

  • Chandni Bhatt, 27, of Whittaker Street, Riverside, arrested for shoplifting from Sears at the Moorestown Mall after she allegedly concealed $483.45 worth of jewelry and accessories in her pocketbook, according to police. She was released on a summons.
  • Alexandria Crosier, 25, Tanglewood Drive, Sicklerville, arrested after police said she stuffed $53 worth of clothing from Boscov’s and $239.99 worth of clothing and accessories from Sears into a diaper bag. She was charged with two counts of shoplifting and released on summonses, police said.

  • Marcia Francis, 21, of Concord Drive, Browns Mills, and Kiona Cypress, 20, of Harding Road, Browns Mills, arrested and charged with shoplifting. Police said Francis concealed $54.96 worth of clothing from Boscov’s in a bag and Cypress concealed $56 worth of clothing from Boscov’s in a bag. Both were released on a summons.
