Moorestown Police Investigate Thefts

Residents are urged to contact the police department immediately at 856-234-8300 if they notice any suspicious activity in their neighborhood.

June 29

Theft, 1:05 p.m. — Police said someone stole 160 feet of copper pipe from a home on the 700 block of Riverton Road sometime between June 28 and 29.

July 3

Theft — A vehicle antenna was stolen from the 200 block of West Third Street sometime overnight on July 2, according to police.

July 4

Burglary, 3:15 a.m. — Police arrested Carl Small, 35, and Brandon Thurston, 23, both of Hinsdale Lane, Willingboro, after an investigation revealed they had burglarized the fenced yard of , 360 Crider Avenue, according to a report. Police said the men had stolen commercial signs worth more than $200. They were were stopped while operating a U-Haul truck, on which they had covered the license plate, police said. Both Small and Thurston were processed and released pending further court action.
