Moorestown Police Investigating Overnight Burglary, Attempted Burglary

A home on Bramley Road was burglarized Friday night, while there was an attempted break-in on Country Club Drive the same night.

Moorestown Police responded to separate incidents of a residential burglary and an attempted burglary overnight Friday night.

Police first reported to a home on the 100 block of Country Club Drive at 10:25 p.m. when an alarm was tripped.

They discovered that a screen had been removed from a rear window and the window was subsequently forced partially open activating the alarm.

There was no apparent entry and the homeowners weren't home at the time.

At 7:15 a.m. the following morning, police were contacted by a resident on the unit block of Bramley Road who claimed their home was burglarized sometime overnight.

A rear door had been pried open and numerous pieces of jewelry and two gift cards were stolen. The homeowners weren't home at the time.
