Moorestown Police Weekly Crime Log: July 11-17, 2014

Moorestown Police release their weekly activity report.

* On July 13, it was reported that a Diamondback Lustre girls mountain bike valued at $289 was stolen from the bicycle rack at the Sunnybrook Swim Club on Devon Road.

* Louis Panetta, 45, of Hi-Nella, was charged with shoplifting two bed comforters valued at $149.98 from Boscov’s in the Moorestown Mall on July 14. Panetta was released on a summons.

* On July 15, a victim left a bag unattended for a few minutes under a tree on Rt. 38 and the bag was taken. The bag contained an Acer laptop, an IPhone and various papers totaling $600.

* Athari Alali, 31, of Mt. Laurel, was charged with shoplifting and knowingly using juveniles in the commission of a crime on July 16. Alali allegedly stole various items, including jewelry, clothing, shoes, perfume and baby items from Sears in the Moorestown Mall, concealing them in a stolen purse. The total value of the merchandise was $510.15. Alali was released after posting $30,000 bail 10 percent.

* On July 16, a resident of Winthrop Avnue reported medication stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

* On July 16, Francis Lamenia,19, of Delran, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, including a grinder and a bong while in the park at Georgian Drive.  Lamenia was released on a summons.

* On July 17, a resident of Revere Avenue reported an IPod and change taken from a vehicle. 

* On July 18, a resident of North Lincoln Avenue reported approximately $3 to $4 in coins were taken from a possibly unlocked vehicle console.
