Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Rte. 73 Crash: Police

Anyone with information regarding the accident is urged to call Mount Laurel Police.

A Palmyra man was seriously hurt after his motorcycle struck a utility pole near the Church Road intersection on Route 73 Saturday, police said.

Dean M. Simon, 22, of the 700 block of Chestnut Street, Palmyra, was driving north on 73 just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of his Honda motorcycle and hit the pole, Mount Laurel Police said. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.

Simon was listed in stable condition Monday afternoon, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Mount Laurel Police are still investigating the accident and ask anyone with information to call the Traffic Bureau at 856-234-1414, ext. 1565.
